Experience:
A minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or a similar role, with a strong focus on software product development within the software or technology industry. Analytical & Problem-Solving Acumen: Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to dissect complex business problems and translate them into actionable, detailed requirements. Requirements Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of various requirements elicitation techniques and proficiency in creating comprehensive, clear, and unambiguous requirements documentation. Methodology Proficiency: Strong understanding and practical experience with software development methodologies, particularly Agile (Scrum, Kanban), and experience working effectively within cross-functional teams. Communication Excellence: Superb written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical and business concepts clearly and facilitate productive discussions among diverse stakeholders. Tool Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with industry-standard tools for requirements management (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence), diagramming (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart), and potentially prototyping/wireframing (e.g., Figma, Sketch).Detail-Oriented & Organized: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage complex requirements and documentation effectively.Local Market Acumen: A solid understanding of the Bangladeshi market context and business processes is advantageous.Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, CSPO) are a significant plus.
Requirements Elicitation: Lead advanced requirements gathering sessions with diverse stakeholders (including product managers, development leads, business users, and subject matter experts). Employ various techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, use cases, user stories) to capture comprehensive and unambiguous business, functional, and non-functional requirements for new products or features.
Detailed Documentation: Produce clear, concise, and thorough documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Use Cases, User Stories with acceptance criteria, process flows (As-Is and To-Be), data models, and wireframes/mock-ups.
Process Modeling & Optimization: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and design optimized future processes that integrate seamlessly with proposed software solutions, enhancing operational effectiveness and user experience.
Solution Scoping & Design Input: Collaborate closely with product managers and technical leads to translate requirements into feasible technical solutions, providing business context and validating solution designs against original needs.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a critical liaison between business units, product management, and development teams, facilitating effective communication, managing expectations, and ensuring clear alignment on project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
Development Support: Provide ongoing clarification of requirements to development and quality assurance (QA) teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Address questions, resolve ambiguities, and ensure fidelity to the original business intent.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Support and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that the developed software solution rigorously meets defined requirements and is fit for its intended business purpose. Document and track defects, and confirm resolutions.
Product Backlog Management: Work closely with Product Owners/Managers to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts are aligned with strategic objectives and validated market needs.
