Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and enhance the Credit Reporting & Monitoring framework which meets the requirements of various external & internal stakeholders.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Credit Risk reports. Interpret the information and suggest actions for consideration by Senior Management.
∎ Assist the Head of Risk Management in carrying out the responsibilities pertaining to CEC, EC and Board Risk Committee which includes preparation of the information pack and responding to data/ analytical requests from the Committee.
∎ Assist the Head of Risk Management in enhancement and review of Credit Policies & Standards in order to ensure that these reflect the best practice and regulate the risk assets as directed by the Board.
∎ Provide requirements and design inputs, particularly with regard to credit risk recognition, measurement and its reporting as part of the core team for implementation of key credit risk related projects (e.g. Credit Management System).
∎ Lead enhancements to the Credit Measurement Framework following Environmental & Social Risk Management (ESRM) guidelines; which include rating models jointly with Head of Risk Management.
∎ Pre-screening of loan applications, conduct KYC, CPV, valuation, searching of collateral documentation, visit to business premise/ factory/ collateral of borrowers to assess the financial stability, associated risk and prepare comprehensive business visit and compliance report.
∎ Conduct credit underwriting work for corporate finance, retail finance and SME finance clients based on PPG, credit acceptance policy, and CRG policy.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate reporting of information from these systems to the relevant stakeholders (which includes BB, CIB, Rating Agencies, Lenders, and Senior management).
∎ Assist in preparation and presentation of the information pack for Board Risk Committee.
∎ Contribute proactively to various risk related projects and initiatives owing to synergies (e.g. stress testing, CAMEL Rating, RMU, CCU); especially on aspects pertaining to credit measurement and sourcing/ management of data for these initiatives.
∎ Contribute to system implementation projects in the credit risk space by providing requirements and design inputs, particularly with regard to credit risk recognition and measurement.
∎ Assist the Head of Risk Management in development and review of Credit Policy & Standards.
∎ Ensure that sound credit risk measurement and monitoring frameworks are developed and implemented throughout in a standardized manner.
∎ Maintain and ensure reporting and compliance and regulations of Central Bank and other regulatory bodies.
∎ Period visit to customers/businesses that fall under portfolio at risk and utilize/ circulate the knowledge gained from the same.
∎ Submit report on multidimensional perspective on the investment outlook in an accessible and informative manner though industry analysis.
∎ Knowledge sharing with RMs to minimize information asymmetry between credit analyst and other stakeholders.
∎ Maintain relevant data and prepare MIS for the senior management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 8 years' experience in relevant department in leadership role in Bank or financial institutions.
∎ Superior problem solving, time management, analytical, decision-making, people management, interpersonal, communication skills and flexibility to work across.
∎ Well known on credit appraisal automation work
∎ Self-motivated and leadership attributes.
∎ Computer literacy having good command in Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ Strong understanding of Credit analysis and policies.
∎ Good understanding of Risk Management principles.
∎ Good understanding of BB's provision and structure/rescheduling policy, and evolving regulatory guidelines in this space.
∎ Possess strong problem solving skills (hypothesis-driven thinking, analytical, quantitative, conceptual skills).
∎ Thorough understanding of the evolving practices for the management of credit risk and regulatory requirements.
∎ Capable of professional discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Managing system transitions smoothly.
∎ Able to source data/ perform periodic computations.
∎ Exposure to Limit/ Collateral system implementation.
∎ Exposure to credit risk modelling is desirable.
