• Oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure timely completion of repair tasks.

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment and facilities.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and coordinate complex repairs.

• Identify improvement areas and recommend upgrades for equipment reliability.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, install and commission mechanical systems and new parts as required.

• Conduct physical and simulated tests for performance, safety, durability and fuel economy, analyzing results to refine designs.

• Design and development of automotive systems, including power trains, chassis and electrical components.

• Provide technical guidance, investigate mechanical failures, analyze data and resolve complex engineering challenges. 

• Improving vehicle dynamics, power and fuel efficiency.

• Support the preparation of technical documentation and specifications.

• Organizing and carrying out tests (eg to check whether engines will work in different conditions, such as high temperatures) and addressing problems revealed through testing.

• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to avoid breakdowns.

• Keeping up to date with safety and environmental legislation

• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools and maintenance supplies.

• Lead and guide maintenance technicians, assigning work and monitoring performance.
