Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor the production input on line and achieve the production target on daily basis.
∎ Analyse the monthly production plan, sort out the loop holes and give necessary direction to achieve the departmental goal.
∎ Correspondence with the relevant department regarding fabric and accessories on the basis of the order sheet.
∎ Getting the PP samples/ size sets approved by the buyers and take necessary steps in time.
∎ Manage urgent and critical situations on processing multiple orders at the same time.
∎ Ensure daily functional activities of the department by giving proper support and any other tasks as assigned by superior.
∎ Conduct the daily production meeting to achieve the weekly shipment schedule.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development by up skilling.
∎ Ensure right quantity shipment, cost reduction by reducing all kind of production wastage like rejection, alteration, over cutting, over production, and extra hour work.
∎ Prepare daily reports on production & Quick change over, maintenance, people, quality, safety, consumption, monthly stock, and production cost.
∎ Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
∎ Foster a positive and responsive culture whilst ensuring the production schedule is met.
∎ Carry out any other job assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali;
∎ Good knowledge & skills in computing.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ 6+ years of related working experience
∎ Knowledge on production process and IE(Lean).
∎ Knowledge on related machinery/ equipment.
∎ Knowledge of quality assurances system, compliance and understanding of pattern making.
∎ The candidate should have proven leadership skills
∎ The candidate should have excellent Production & Total Quality Management skills
∎ Effective communication & coordination skills with related departments
∎ Should be self-motivated, hard working, sincere & ready to work under stress
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Garments knowledge (cutting, sewing & finishing )
