Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ • Strong understanding of Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 (Amended) and related rules
∎ • Familiarity with compliance audit protocols (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, Higg Index, etc.)
∎ • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
∎ • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
∎ • Good documentation and reporting skills
∎ • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
∎ • 4–6 years of experience in HR & Compliance in the Sewing/Washing factories.
∎ • Experience facing social, technical, and environmental audits

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the factory complies with all applicable labor laws, environmental regulations, and buyer COC (Code of Conduct) requirements.
∎ Assist in preparing for buyer, third-party, and regulatory audits (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Accord/RSC, etc.).
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to compliance (e.g., personnel files, legal licenses, audit reports, training records).
∎ Conduct regular internal audits and compliance risk assessments to identify and close any gaps.
∎ Follow up on CAPs (Corrective Action Plans) and ensure timely implementation and verification of compliance issues.
∎ Coordinate with production, EHS, and other departments for smooth compliance operations in the washing unit.
∎ Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and collaborate with relevant teams to maintain a safe working environment.
∎ Ensure all employees are informed and compliant with the company's ethical code of conduct and social compliance standards.
∎ Arrange, conduct & process employees recruitment and selection as per set recruitment and selection policy and procedure and ensure that a fair recruitment is followed.
∎ Maintain employee database and ensure all records are updated in compliance with legal and buyer requirements.
∎ Assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary matters following fair practices.
∎ Promote worker engagement, training, and awareness sessions related to rights, safety, and factory rules.
∎ Ensure workers receive ID cards, pay slips, and are paid correctly and on time.
∎ Track attendance, absenteeism, overtime, and support in manpower planning.
∎ Implement performance appraisals and provide guidance on employee development.
∎ Design and conduct training programs to ensure the continuous skill enhancement of the workforce.
