Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping
∎ Training and managing a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
∎ Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
∎ Preparing detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
∎ Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
∎ Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
∎ Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
∎ Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
∎ Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
∎ Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
∎ Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
∎ Preparing procurement reports.
∎ Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
∎ Acting as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
∎ Monitoring and updating relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing
∎ Working closely with the Finance department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company
∎ Seek solutions to improve key supply chain performance metrics (i.e. on-time delivery, cost, inventory management, feasibility, etc.). Meet with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure alignment and operational readiness to meet the needs of the business and customers.
∎ Manage the documentation, monitoring and coordination of all import and export shipments ensuring any deviations/exceptions communicated efficiently & effectively to all stakeholders. Ensure issues are addressed effectively and CAPA actions are put in effect. Accompany QA on transportation service provider internal audits.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ •Proven work experience(Min 2 years) as a Supply chain professional
∎ •Expertise in procurement and warehouse management procedures
∎ •Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
∎ •Strong knowledge of warehousing and procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
∎ •Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
∎ •Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
∎ •Strong decision making and problem solving skills
∎ •Excellent communication skills
∎ •Undergraduate degree in logistics, supply chain management and professional training in relevant field.

Salary: Tk. 25000 - 35000 (Monthly)
