∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Quality Controller/ Assurance
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the prevailing quality control system, tools and techniques
∎ Identify the main causes of defect occurring in product or garments and prescribe the remedial measures
∎ Provide operational instructions /manual & effective guideline for ensuring desired quality of garments
∎ Identify training needs for the quality management or quality control concerned people
∎ Design the required training module and materials on quality concern issues
∎ Conduct and facilitate training program under the guidance of Manager/GM
∎ Communicate with production department to determine their needs, alert them about the challenges, and help to develop a best or alternative solution in order to maintain timely job flow or schedule
∎ Install and maintain effective quality management system to ensure product's quality
∎ Ensure highest standard of quality from starting to finish of the production process
∎ Ensure that the quality management system is in place & working as envisaged
∎ Examine the weaknesses of the existing quality control system and modify to make the system more effective
∎ Make sure that all staff members of quality department are well conversant and trained on quality assurance and defects usually occurs in the production process
∎ Plan and implement the quality control process inspection in all production units
∎ Install both preventing and remedial measures against occurrence of any defect in products
∎ Conduct frequent quality audit and ensure control over the production & quality section in order to ensure quality of the product
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good Communication skills.
∎ Well-organized and detail-oriented.
∎ Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook).
