Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design control systems to minimize inventory cost and maximize profit
∎ Implement wastage reduction and process loss minimization methodologies
∎ Study on recent affairs to develop new ideas for increasing productivity and technical know-how
∎ Prepare production layouts for the floor for effective utilization of men, machine, utilities and materials
∎ Ensure various system implementations to minimize the cost and increase efficiency of factory
∎ Coordinate with production, merchandising and other departments for smooth production and coordination
∎ Sound knowledge on material consumption
∎ Ensure optimized distribution of works to vendors and manufacturers as per their capacity
∎ Conduct IE analysis and ensure systemic control of IE related activities
∎ Monitor production planning and operations related activities
∎ Set SMV (Standard Minutes Value), efficiency calculation and assign a target based on efficiency and SMV
∎ Make suggestions to increase production, productivity and efficiency
∎ Perform time study and maintain monthly skill matrix and capacity analysis
∎ Prepare machine and paper layouts for every new style
∎ Communicate with the merchandising team and solve production related issues
∎ Be responsible for daily production and meet daily production targets
∎ Ensure that the vendors meet required quality standards
∎ Manage all tasks for smooth production and on time shipment process
∎ Conduct root cause analysis and prepare action plan for low efficient teams
∎ Ensure compliance in all areas of production, sourcing and operations
∎ Maintain SOP in regular operations for consistency and reliability
∎ Any other task assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Min. 3+ years in the relevant area
∎ Production planning and control
∎ Materials planning
∎ Project management
∎ Production line processes
∎ Bill of Materials (BoM)
∎ Collaboration/Coordination with cross-functional teams
∎ Understanding of business processes
∎ Agile development
∎ Extensive knowledge of fashion and lifestyle products
∎ Excellent understanding of different material qualities/ measurements/ compositions,/ technical aspects/ construction/ specifications
∎ Ingenious capacity to generate new ideas and concepts
∎ Good sense of product quality and international standards
∎ Strong analytical skills and data analysis capability
∎ Good knowledge of global best practices
