Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all types of sewing machines to ensure smooth production and uninterrupted operations.
Maintain detailed records of machine service, repair history, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Stay updated on the latest sewing machine technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements when necessary.
Diagnose technical problems quickly and implement effective solutions, ensuring machines meet production efficiency and safety standards.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance machine life.
Ensure compliance with safety rules, regulations, and organizational standards during all maintenance activities.
Apply knowledge of different fabrics, sewing techniques, and machine adjustments to optimize performance and product quality.
Coordinate with production teams to understand operational challenges and provide timely support.
Train and guide junior technicians to build a capable maintenance team.
Manage tasks effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines while remaining calm and composed in challenging situations.
Communicate clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and production staff to maintain a collaborative work environment.
