Education:

  • Master’s degree in any discipline (preferably in HRM).
  • PGD in HRM from BIM or similar institutes will be considered an advantage.

  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in RMG (woven preferred), with at least 2 years in a leadership role in HR operations at the factory level.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and compliance documentation.
  • Hands-on experience in worker handling and unionized environments.
  • Proficient in HR software, MS Excel, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and independently lead the HR team at the unit.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – HR Operations to serve as the Unit Head of HR for our Woven Factory. The role involves leading all HR functions at the unit level including recruitment, time & attendance, compliance, grievance handling, welfare, and labor law execution in alignment with corporate HR policies and buyer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the HR lead at the factory level, reporting to the Group HR Head.

  • Manage daily HR operations including attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and worker discipline.

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and the buyer`s Code of Conduct.

  • Supervise and guide a team of HR, admin, and welfare officers.

  • Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

  • Coordinate the recruitment of workers and staff in coordination with production needs.

  • Maintain up-to-date manpower planning, organograms, and HR reports.

  • Support internal and external audits related to HR and compliance.

  • Promote employee welfare, engagement, and safety practices on the floor.

  • Maintain effective liaison with production, compliance, and head office teams.
