Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• At least 6 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Minimum 6 years experience working in a garment factory in cutting section cut plan, lay plan and about fabric.

• Capable of manpower planning, team supervision, and coordination with production and merchandising teams.

• Able to monitor fabric reconciliation, minimize wastage, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Monitor all the cutting and preparation phases necessary to produce garments in the allotted time.

• Monitor cutting production and ensure optimum utilization of man, machine and material in the cutting section.

• Increase the productivity and reduce labour cost through updating the information i.e. problem faced on daily basis and giving target to the workers with the help of in-charge and supervisor.

• Cooperation with buyer’s representative

• Control, execute and ensure the projected budget as per the company plan.

• Discuss with planning and dyeing department on daily basis regarding fabric requirement.

• Apply the cutting procedures and standards stated in the cutting agreement

• Ensure to manage the consumption and wastages as per the budget given by Merchandising department.

• Understand the buyers’ requirement and implement the necessary procedures in the cutting department.

• Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.

• Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero Non Compliance.
