Responsibilities & Context:
  •  Develop, update, and recommend compliance policies and procedures to align with legal standards and buyer Code of Conduct (COC).
  • Maintain accurate and organized compliance documentation through a robust filing and retrieval system for both current and archived records.
  • Ensure factory-wide adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and suitable workplace.
  •  Conduct regular monitoring and internal audits to identify non-compliance issues and implement immediate corrective actions.
  •  Follow up and ensure effective maintenance of fire safety systems, fire prevention measures, and emergency equipment.
  •  Assist the Central Compliance Head in executing all compliance-related functions across the factory.
  •  Facilitate continuous compliance with buyer-specific requirements and Bangladesh labor laws & rules.
  •  Prepare and maintain all compliance-related registers and documentation in line with buyer audits and legal standards.
  •  Develop and execute Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in response to audit findings.
  •  Promote a strong worker-management relationship to proactively resolve grievances and foster a positive work environment.
  •  Oversee employees safety and conduct daily inspections focusing on fire safety, occupational health, accident reporting, and root cause analysis.
  •  Organize and facilitate essential training programs including Fire Safety, First Aid, Health & Safety, and Security Awareness.
  •  Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable working environment.
  •  Support and coordinate factory welfare initiatives for employee well-being.
  •  Perform any other duties assigned by management to support compliance and sustainability goals.
