Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Prepare a detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) from architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and finishing drawings.
Perform quantity take-off and material estimation accurately.
Prepare project cost estimation, rate analysis, and budgeting as per market rates.
Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Project Management teams for estimation and cost control.
Verify additional, variation, and omission works of projects.
Analyze contractor quotations and supplier pricing for cost optimization.
Prepare comparative statements for materials and subcontractor works.
Monitor project cost variations and support budget control.
Ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and construction practices.
Maintain estimation records, BOQ revisions, and project costing documentation.
Assist management with tender evaluation and project financial forecasting.
