• Operational Oversight: Directly supervise the daily operations of the Acid Wash plant/section, ensuring smooth execution of the washing, neutralizing, and rinsing cycles.

• Recipe & Standard Adherence: Ensure all wash technicians strictly follow approved Acid Wash recipes to achieve the desired aesthetic effect (abrasion/contrast).

• Quality Control Integration: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to establish in-process quality checks and ensure minimal rejection rates related to wash consistency, patches, or damage.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve process variations, machine malfunctions, and quality issues (e.g., uneven color, back staining, poor contrast) quickly to minimize production downtime.

• Supervision & Training: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of wash supervisors, technicians, and operators. Conduct continuous on-the-job training for staff to enhance their technical skills in the Acid Wash process.

• Shift Management: Plan and allocate manpower across shifts to ensure continuous production and optimal machine utilization.

• Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews for subordinates and recommend necessary actions for improvement or promotion.

• Safety Protocols: Strictly enforce all Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) protocols for the handling, storage, and disposal of all hazardous chemicals used in the Acid Wash process.

• Consumption Optimization: Implement measures to optimize the consumption of chemicals, water, and energy in the washing process to reduce operational costs.

• Capacity Planning: Forecast and plan the daily, weekly, and monthly Acid Wash production targets based on the overall production schedule.

• Dye Lot Management: Ensure proper separation and tracking of different dye lots to maintain wash consistency across batches.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed daily/weekly production reports covering output, efficiency, downtime, rejection rates, and chemical consumption for the General Manager.

• EHS Compliance: Ensure the Acid Wash section operates in full compliance with local and international Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.

• Effluent Treatment: Coordinate with the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) team to ensure proper neutralization and treatment of Acid Wash discharge before disposal.

Workplace Safety: Promote and maintain a safety-first culture; ensure all staff use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to machine operating safety procedures
