Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Masters in any discipline

  • Professional certification in Social Compliance, Labour Law, Occupational Health & Safety, or related fields will be an added advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules, and buyer Codes of Conduct.

  • Coordinate buyer, customer, and third-party social compliance audits (BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, BWB, etc.) and ensure timely closure of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).

  • Conduct regular internal compliance inspections, identify non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Monitor workplace health & safety, fire safety, electrical safety, building safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental compliance.

  • Organize and facilitate training on labour law, health & safety, fire safety, workplace ethics, buyer compliance requirements, and employee awareness programs.

  • Manage worker grievance mechanisms and promote employee welfare, ethical practices, and effective worker-management communication.

  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation, employee records, audit files, statutory registers, and training reports.

  • Ensure traceability and certification compliance for GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, European Flax, and other sustainability standards.

  • Lead and monitor the activities of the Worker Participation Committee (WPC), Safety Committee, and Anti-Harassment Committee in accordance with legal and buyer requirements.

  • Monitor compliance KPIs, prepare periodic compliance reports, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Support ESG and sustainability initiatives by promoting responsible recruitment, gender equality, worker well-being, social dialogue, and ethical business practices.

  • Coordinate with HR, Production, Washing, QA, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure effective implementation of compliance standards across the factory.
