Job Responsibilities:
∎ Effective Project operations/implementation and ensuring Community mobilization. (60%)
∎ Prepare a business plan at the community level and execute it as per the proposal and organizational guidelines.
∎ Supervise and monitor each stage of the activities. Ensure that standards and instructions are given by the line manager, as well as Islamic Relief Bangladesh procedures,
∎ Monitor the working progress & ensure the quality of project activities & inform the supervisor.
∎ Developing work plan and carrying out all activities accordingly.
∎ Selection of beneficiaries, community needs assessment, and skill capacity analysis of the beneficiary.
∎ Ensuring group development training on leadership, savings and financial management, linkage development, and giving technical support.
∎ Providing technical support and coordination for asset/cash transfer, procurement of different project material following IRB policy.
∎ Developing awareness material and ensuring awareness sessions according to the plan.
∎ Carrying out group-based and community-based awareness sessions on different social issues.
∎ Arranging a different meeting with different stakeholders, service providers, and duty bearers.
∎ Organizing the training session in different categories on selected vocational trade.
∎ Report writing and documentation of the project
∎ Tracking the progress of project activities
∎ Prepare/compile progress reports (quantitative and qualitative) regular basis
∎ Coordination and communication with project stakeholders, GOs, NGOs, Private Sectors, CBOs, Service Providers and IRCO
∎ Communication and coordination among internal & external parties/stakeholders for the project interest.
∎ Building network with different duty bearers and rights holders.
∎ Survey and select target project beneficiaries
∎ Facilitate community consultation meetings, CBO meetings, awareness sessions, and SHG/REG meetings
∎ Establishment of APEX body function, facilitation of community development planning process, and community-led initiatives.
∎ Formation of SHG/REG's & guiding them for using their potentiality in a development manner
∎ Facilitate self-help savings and financial management
∎ Capacity development training & Supervision, effective and appropriate networking, and coordination with different stakeholders. (20%)
∎ Capacity development training facilitation for all the project participants and CBO/SHG/REG leaders
∎ Training follow up, hands-on training at HH level, and training refreshers
∎ Support CBO/SHG/REG leaders to carry out their routine work effectively
∎ Support to organized inception meetings at a different level.
∎ Formulation of the project implementation committee.
∎ Ensure the NOC after selection of scheme with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Involve UDMC & other Project implementation teams for implementation of the project
∎ Coordination & networking with stakeholders
∎ Documentation & reporting (10%)
∎ Prepare and submit planning of the weekly activities to the line manager
∎ Support for the Procurement of materials like requisition, quotation collection, etc.
∎ Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of project events/ activities.
∎ Ensure the compliance of all manuals and organizational policies for the project team with proper practice and record.
∎ Qualitative and quantitative report writing (monthly, quarterly, annually, project completion, and need-based)
∎ Prepare qualitative & quantitative reports of different project activities
∎ Others (10%)
∎ Manage and ensure the integration & compliance of IR policies and other relevant sector codes of good practices including administrative, health, safety, and security policies and frameworks at field level;
∎ Contribute to other project activities and any other tasks as required by program management;
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working with Livelihood related interventions.
∎ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint/Adobe Photoshop/ Basic Internet/ etc.
∎ Excellent Reading/Writing/Speaking/Listening skills for English & Bengali
