∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation & Management of Field Level Activities-45%
∎ Assist the project team to provide technical support on Child Rights/Child Protection.
∎ Develop a community-based child protection committee (CBCPC).
∎ Facilitate and support CBCPC to prevent early marriage;
∎ Conduct workshop/training for community women, men, girls, and boys including male & female faith- leaders
∎ Support to develop child clubs at the community level
∎ Conduct training/workshops on child rights, life skills (focusing on SRHR), child participation, child protection, self-defense, leadership, and psycho-social for child club members
∎ Monitoring early marriage & GBV incidents and reporting to relevant offices/departments;
∎ Conduct monthly meetings with Village motivator and child protection committee members to follow early marriage issues in communities
∎ Receive and verify information on early marriage from the communities.
∎ Assign, monitor, and evaluate the progress of the work with community members and Village motivator.
∎ Attend meetings, workshops at a different level
∎ Advocacy, Networking, and Communication-30%
∎ Assist to conduct advocacy workshop on existing laws & policies on preventing early marriage with duty bearers (LGI representatives, government officials, journalists, teachers, marriage registrar, etc.) at Upazila level;
∎ Advocacy with education Dept. & educational institutions to establish girl-friendly and early marriage-free institutions;
∎ Develop a school-based child protection committee;
∎ Advocacy with relevant office/department for ensuring authentic birth registration;
∎ Organize day celebrations on child rights, women's rights, etc.
∎ Organize awareness campaign on child rights/protection, early marriage, GBV at the community level
∎ Develop networks on child rights at the Upazila level to stop early marriage;
∎ Reporting and Documentation=10%
∎ Provide information for monthly and Interim reports to Project Coordinator
∎ Collect the most significant case stories from the field and prepare a learning document;
∎ Maintain proper process documentation including event reports, success stories, education reports, etc.
∎ Materials Development-10%
∎ Assist to develop a training module on child rights, life skills (focusing on SRHR), child participation, child protection, leadership, and psycho-social
∎ Assist to develop awareness campaign materials on early marriage
∎ Develop a guideline for community-based child protection mechanism and ToR for CBCPC
∎ Others-5%
∎ Responsible for following the compliance of IR policies and other relevant sector codes of good practices including administrative, health, safety, and security policies and frameworks project implantation area.
∎ Regularly review the existing guidelines and adding new ones as necessary to ensure compliance with legislation or where desirable as good practice.
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.

∎ Children, girls, and young people. With the component of Child Marriage Protection, Related Law and Policy, Governance, Advocacy, Community Mobilization, etc.
∎ Analysis, implementation, International agreement (treaty, covenant, and convention), legal framework.
∎ Rights-based approaches for bringing together the best for the children and ensure the existing good practices in relief and development work with children
