Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementing day to day project activities at the field level which includes organizing different awareness and advocacy sessions, meetings, seminars, workshops, theatre shows as well as organizing different capacity development sessions, trainings for both the project staff and direct beneficiaries, communicating with target households/communities, ensuring adequate supports to the target communities; maintaining liaison with different local community leaders, government duty bearers, government officials of different departments both at union and upazila levels and other relevant stakeholders for the effective implementation of the project.
∎ Directly supervising and monitoring day to day activities of project officers/ project supervisors and provide them appropriate guidance for the effective achievement of project objectives and goal.
∎ Guiding them with effective work plan and other logistic supports.
∎ Ensuring the effective use of the monthly approved project funds and different event funds, through the preparation of working budget as per guidance of Project Manager
∎ Preparing detailed monthly work plan, facilitate the monthly coordination meeting, documenting project activities progress, challenges and recommending and communicating those with the Project Manager or appropriate authority as required.
∎ Preparing different data, reports, information monthly, quarterly, yearly or ad-hoc basis as per requirement of Project Manager or instruction of Program Manager or Sector Management.
∎ Ensuring the recruitment and monthly salary processing of all community-based staffs of the areas assigned.
∎ Undertaking different construction works, purchasing different logistics, materials of the project following proper procurement and finance policies and as per requirement and instruction of field / sector management.
∎ Developing participatory planning & implementation strategies, participatory monitoring system for field level activities.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or sector management.
∎ Conducting different surveys, documenting and reporting the results
∎ Documenting and reporting community information, project involvement
∎ Orienting project to different stakeholders, duty bearers, government officials, judiciaries, community members, community leaders
∎ Selecting chars or new service areas
∎ Monitoring the formation of different groups, i.e. adult groups, FCS groups, youth groups
∎ Selecting schools for conduction of weekly classes, PTS meetings
∎ Selecting areas for Legal Booth, constructing Legal Information Booths
∎ Monitoring different groups, school activities and reporting the activities
∎ Monitoring and reporting the activities of FCGA, FCP and Theatre Artists
∎ Monitoring and reporting the services provided through Legal Information Booths
∎ Monitoring and reporting Char theater group performances
∎ Arranging different Advocacy meetings, sessions, open budgetary sessions, different national and international days, developing community scorecards
∎ Organizing monthly orientation session on curriculum
∎ Organizing alternative income generating trainings for the char communities
∎ Arranging sharing meetings, seminars, workshops with different stakeholders
∎ Arranging trainings for community leaders
∎ Liaison with DLAC, GOs and other NGOs
∎ Establishing awareness based billboards
∎ Involving in different emergency support activities
∎ Ensuring media coverage for different events
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good Computer skills in MS office applications
∎ Good Communication and facilitation skills
∎ Good command over Bengali and English
∎ Report writing skill
∎ Leadership skills
