Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
∎ Monitor and manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL).
∎ Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions.
∎ Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
∎ Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
∎ Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
∎ Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reviews.
∎ Prepare financial reports for management review.
∎ Conduct variance analysis between budgets and actuals.
∎ Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
∎ Support in the preparation and filing of VAT, TDS, and other tax returns.
∎ Ensure proper calculation and payment of taxes on time.
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and changes.
∎ Assist in managing and training junior accounting staff.
∎ Review and verify work done by team members.
∎ Coordinate with other departments for inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
