Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 22 years
  • Strong knowledge of foreign procurement and import operations.

  • Good understanding of HS Codes, INCOTERMS, customs procedures, VAT, and shipping documentation.

  • Hands-on experience in supplier communication and international sourcing.

  • Ability to prepare Landed Cost calculations accurately.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.

  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments/orders simultaneously.

  • Good communication skills in both English and Bangla.

Maritime Entrepreneurs Pte. Ltd.(meplbd) is a leading trading and indenting company specializing in the distribution of raw materials, chemicals, pigments, dyes, fragrances, and specialty ingredients across multiple industries. We work with globally reputed suppliers and serve leading local manufacturers in Food & Beverage, Pharma, Paint, Textile, and Home & Personal Care sectors.

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented supply chain professional who can efficiently manage procurement, import operations, inventory coordination, and supplier communication in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source raw materials, chemicals, food ingredients, and specialty products from local and international suppliers.

  • Maintain communication with overseas principals, suppliers, and agents regarding quotations, shipments, and delivery schedules.

  • Support price negotiation and procurement planning activities.

  • Coordinate import documentation, LC-related activities, freight forwarding, and customs clearance processes.

  • Work closely with C&F agents, shipping lines, and banks to ensure smooth shipment handling.

  • Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Prepare and analyze Landed Cost calculations including freight, duty, VAT, and other charges.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

  • Support inventory planning and stock monitoring activities.

  • Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing supply disruptions.

  • Prepare periodic supply chain and procurement reports for management.

  • Maintain proper documentation and compliance records.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

  • Evaluate vendor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
