Knitting Production, Knitting Sector, Knitting Technology, Production Management (Knitting & Weaving)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for Sample Knitting and R&D of buyer LIDL, Kiabi, Jennyfer, NKD, Primark and others reputable buyer.
∎ After received new order sheet then discussed with Departmental Head to set parameter (Count, Stitch length, and Machine Dia) for correct knitting parameter and finished fabric Dia, GSM, appearance and overall fabric quality.
∎ Provide yarn booking to Coordination Department/ Yarn Procurement team according to Sample Fabric requirement.
∎ Discuss with machine planning team for making new order sample and R&D fabrics delivery plan according to necessity and shipment & provide delivery plan to Sample Dyeing Planning, Garments Planning, Merchant Team.
∎ Distribute program to floor In-Charge and Supervisor according to machine plan.
∎ Follow up yarn in house which required according to program from yarn store to knitting floor.
∎ Assure all parameter (count, brand, lot, stitch length) before start knitting.
∎ Follow up with Knit Fabric Finishing in Dyeing & Finishing Dept. to obtain the correct fabric quality like Dia, GSM, Fabric Shade, Hand Feel, overall quality expectations of Merchant Team.
∎ Find problems during inspection & make root cause analysis of faults.
∎ Highlight problems/ faults/ discrepancies in production.
∎ Assessment of Production Friendliness & Feasibility Study of a new R&D Fabric.
∎ Must have familiarity working in a knit composite factory, with sample knitting production and direct work with Textile Finishing
