Job Context

We are seeking a highly motivated, result-driven, and technical leader to head the CAD, Pattern, and Sample Development departments of our export-oriented knit garments manufacturing operation. The incumbent will bridge the gap between buyer design concepts and bulk production readiness, ensuring impeccable garment construction, precise pattern engineering, optimized fabric consumption, and right-first-time sample approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Departmental Leadership: Oversee daily workflows in the CAD, Pattern, and Sample sections. Develop SOPs and coordinate with Merchandising, IE, Production, and Quality teams.

• Tech Pack & Risk Analysis: Review buyers' Tech Packs, construction details, and measurement charts. Identify potential production risks and lead Pre-Production Meetings (PPM).

• Pattern & Fit Engineering: Supervise accurate pattern making, size grading, and shrinkage adjustments for knit fabrics. Analyze buyer fit comments and deliver production-ready patterns.

• CAD & Fabric Optimization: Manage digital CAD operations (WINDA). Maximize marker efficiency and calculate accurate fabric/trim consumptions to minimize wastage.

• Sample Execution & QA: Manage the timeline for all development stages (Proto, Fit, Size Set, PP, TOP). Conduct in-line audits to ensure exact buyer specifications and sample quality.

• Production Handover: Provide technical support during pilot runs, approve first-output line samples, and implement CAPA for any construction defects.
