Job Context
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and result-oriented Manager – IE for our 100% export-oriented woven garment factory.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute industrial engineering strategies to improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across manufacturing operations.
Lead the planning, optimization, and continuous improvement of production layouts, equipment utilization, material flow, and workspace design to maximize operational efficiency.
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, capacity plans, and business requirements to ensure optimal resource allocation and manufacturing performance.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and reduce manufacturing costs.
Establish and monitor departmental KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, quality, cost, OEE, labor utilization, and process performance.
Lead process optimization, time and motion studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and manpower planning to improve operational performance.
Ensure engineering drawings, production equipment, testing systems, and manufacturing processes meet required quality, accuracy, and compliance standards.
Analyze production, quality, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
Develop annual departmental budgets and ensure effective cost control through optimization of manpower, materials, utilities, and operational resources.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Planning, and other departments to improve overall manufacturing performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, environmental standards, and statutory requirements.
Build and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety, housekeeping (5S), quality, and operational discipline.
Lead, mentor, coach, and develop the Industrial Engineering team, identifying competency gaps and implementing training and succession planning initiatives.
Evaluate team performance through regular performance reviews and provide guidance for career development.
Lead industrial engineering projects, factory expansion initiatives, automation projects, and productivity improvement programs.
Prepare and present departmental performance reports, improvement initiatives, and business recommendations to senior management.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management.
