Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all wet processing activities of denim woven garments to achieve production targets and shipment schedules.

• Supervise and control wet processing operations including Desizing, Enzyme Wash, Stone Enzyme Wash, Bleach Wash, Acid Wash, Softener Wash, Tinting, Garment Dyeing, Over Dyeing, Resin Treatment, and other wet process techniques.

• Ensure washing quality and shade consistency according to approved samples and buyer requirements.

• Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to ensure on-time delivery.

• Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, and chemical consumption to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs.

• Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Technical, Quality, and Production teams for smooth workflow and timely order execution.

• Troubleshoot production and process-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure proper utilization of chemicals, water, steam, and utilities while maintaining sustainability standards.

• Maintain production records, process reports, efficiency reports, and chemical consumption reports.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, chemical handling requirements, and environmental regulations.

• Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure proper functioning and preventive maintenance of washing machines and related equipment.

• Lead, train, and motivate production personnel to improve productivity and operational excellence.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and process optimization.

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
