Job Overview: The position is responsible for coordinating and managing the entire merchandising process from product development to final shipment. The role involves maintaining communication with internal departments and vendors, monitoring production progress, ensuring quality and budget compliance, and facilitating smooth execution of supply orders and shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Interpret buyer tech-packs focusing on fit (Base Layer & Mid layer), moisture management (Wicking), 4-way stretch, and seamless bonding technologies related to activewear.

•  Identify and source appropriate performance fabrics (e.g., Nylon/Spandex, Polyester/Elastane, Recycled Polyester, Eco-Friendly dyes) in coordination with the sourcing team.

• Oversee the complete sampling process (Proto, Fit, PP, TOP) ensuring strict adherence to size specs, fit standards, and wash instructions.

•  Proactively present new developments in yarn, trims and finishing techniques to buyers to secure new orders.

• Act as the primary interface between the factory and international buyers. Build strong, trust-based relationships to secure repeat business.

• Prepare precise cost sheets (FOB/CMT) factoring in raw material costs, trims, labor, overhead, and fluctuating exchange rates to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing.

• Analyze RFQs (Request for Quotations) and lead the commercial negotiations to finalize order bookings.

• Strategically allocate orders to appropriate production lines based on capacity, machine availability and critical path.

• Develop and maintain detailed production timelines, ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) from fabric procurement to shipment.

• Collaborate with the QA/QC team to enforce AQL standards and resolve any production or technical issues that arise during cutting, sewing, or finishing.

• Monitor the procurement of accessories and trims, ensuring they align with buyer-specific labels and packaging requirements.

•  Liaise with logistics and C&F agents to ensure seamless container booking, documentation, and bill of lading processes.
