Preferred Experience

  • 5–8 years of procurement experience in hospitals, diagnostic centers, medical devices, laboratory consumables, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.

  • Strong network and knowledge of international manufacturers, import suppliers, and distributors of diagnostic reagents, medical equipment, laboratory consumables, and healthcare accessories.

  • Sound understanding of import procurement processes, supplier development, and healthcare industry supply chains.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Manage procurement of diagnostic reagents, laboratory consumables, medical accessories, equipment, and related services.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, manufacturers, and principals in the healthcare and diagnostic industry.

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with import and local suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and uninterrupted supply.

  • Coordinate import procurement activities, including supplier communication, order placement, shipment follow-up, and documentation.

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stock-outs of critical diagnostic and medical items.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company procurement policies.

  • Collaborate with laboratory, operations, finance, and commercial teams for demand planning and procurement forecasting.

  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, contract compliance, and market trends.
