Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of MIS systems and tools.
∎ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements and user needs for MIS solutions.
∎ Ensure that MIS systems are aligned with business goals and objectives.
∎ Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business operations.
∎ Generate various analytical reports, and dashboards to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
∎ Provide ad-hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations to management as needed.
∎ Manage and maintain databases to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
∎ Develop and enforce data management policies, procedures, and best practices.
∎ Conduct regular data audits and quality checks to identify and resolve data issues.
∎ Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency through automation and technology.
∎ Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize workflows.
∎ Leverage technology solutions to automate repetitive tasks and minimize manual intervention.
∎ Provide training and support to end-users on MIS systems, tools, and reports.
∎ Develop user documentation and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer.
∎ Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to MIS.
∎ Monitor data security and privacy measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
∎ Identify and mitigate risks related to data management, integrity, and confidentiality.
∎ Implement controls and protocols to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
∎ Evaluate and select external vendors and service providers for MIS solutions and services.
∎ Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
∎ Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery of quality services within agreed timelines.
