Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in developing and implementing business development strategies to expand Meridian Agro's market presence.
∎ Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the horticulture sector, including mangoes, coffee, and fruits.
∎ Develop Agro based business plan (Corps and Livestock/Aquaculture) for utilizing unused lands of the company.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
∎ Manage and optimize online sales platforms for mango products, including website, e-commerce marketplaces, and social media channels.
∎ Develop digital marketing strategies to promote mango sales and attract new customers.
∎ Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
∎ Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure alignment with business growth objectives.
∎ Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients and partners.
∎ Support in negotiating deals and closing agreements that align with company goals.
∎ Monitor industry developments, government policies, and market conditions affecting the Agro sector.
∎ Meridian Agro is seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Professional to support our growth initiatives in the horticulture sector, focusing on mangoes, coffee, and fruits. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, managing online sales channels for mangoes, and exploring the utilization of our vast land resources to expand operational capacity and revenue.
