Strong understanding of knit dyeing processes, machine capacities, batch requirements, and production workflows.
Good knowledge of TNA, production planning, and delivery schedules.
Ability to analyze production data and identify opportunities for NPT reduction.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and production planning systems.
Ability to work under pressure and manage changing production priorities.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepare and execute dyeing machine plans in accordance with the TNA (Time and Action) plan, production priorities, and shipment deadlines.
- Ensure optimum utilization of dyeing machine capacity through effective planning, load balancing, and resource allocation.
- Develop production-friendly dyeing plans considering machine compatibility, batch size, fabric types, shade requirements, and production priorities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce NPT (Non-Productive Time) and ensure its continuous reduction through effective planning and coordination.
- Ensure the timely availability of dyeing batches, approved lab dips, and lab recheck approvals in accordance with the dyeing plan.
- Coordinate with Production, Lab, Batch Preparation, Quality, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of the dyeing plan.
- Monitor plan-versus-actual production performance, identify deviations, and take necessary corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Review machine loading, production bottlenecks, and pending approvals regularly to maintain production flow and meet delivery commitments.
