• Collect, verify, and report important news from Dhaka/ Chattogram, and their surrounding districts.

• Respond promptly to major incidents involving accidents, crime, politics, public administration, disasters, and other issues of public interest.

• Produce special reports, investigative stories, human-interest features, and follow-up reports.

• Maintain professional relationships with government officials, local representatives, law enforcement agencies, political figures, experts, and public and private institutions.

• Cover press conferences, briefings, court proceedings, meetings, public events, and important local developments.

• Prepare video reports, conduct interviews, provide live updates, and present news on camera when required.

• Develop stories highlighting local culture, heritage, history, the environment, livelihoods, and community issues.

• Verify facts, statements, documents, and sources before publication while maintaining accuracy, impartiality, and journalistic ethics.

• Identify emerging news opportunities and deliver timely, reliable, and public-interest journalism.

• Represent the news organization professionally and comply with its editorial policies, professional standards, and relevant laws.
