Responsibilities & Duties

1. Prepare and develop Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

2.     Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.

3.     Design and coordinate HVAC, electrical, lighting, power distribution, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems as required.

4.     Prepare MEP shop drawings, working drawings, schematic diagrams, and as-built drawings.

5.     Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure proper installation.

6.     Review architectural and structural drawings and identify potential conflicts with MEP systems.

7.     Ensure that all MEP designs comply with applicable building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

8.     Prepare material quantity take-offs (BOQ), equipment schedules, and technical documentation.

9.     Conduct site visits when required to verify site conditions and ensure drawings match actual site requirements.

10.  Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, consultant comments, and site requirements.

11.  Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve design and installation issues.

12.  Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned design tasks.
