Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall factory operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production.

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business and customer requirements.

• Take overall responsibility for production, productivity, quality, efficiency, cost, and on-time delivery.

• Ensure effective production planning and coordination with merchandising, IE, quality, sourcing, and commercial teams.

• Monitor production performance against targets and implement corrective actions where required.

• Optimize manpower, machinery, production capacity, and other factory resources.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and control manufacturing costs.

• Ensure adherence to approved production plans, quality standards, buyer requirements, and shipment schedules.

• Establish and monitor KPIs for production and operational performance.

• Work closely with the Industrial Engineering team to improve line balancing, SMV performance, efficiency, and capacity utilization.

• Ensure strong coordination between cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, and other production departments.

• Maintain high standards of product quality and minimize defects, rework, and rejection.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor, safety, environmental, ethical, and buyer compliance requirements.

• Develop and mentor factory management and departmental teams.

• Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation plans.

• Prepare regular management reports covering factory performance, productivity, efficiency, costs, quality, and delivery.

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum “A” Level/ HSC or a related discipline.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in woven garment manufacturing, with significant experience in a senior factory management role.

• Strong knowledge of woven garment production processes, including cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.

• Proven experience managing large-scale garment manufacturing operations.

• Strong understanding of production planning, IE, lean manufacturing, quality management, and cost control.

• Demonstrated ability to improve factory productivity, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and make timely, commercially sound decisions.

• Experience working with international buyers and maintaining buyer compliance standards will be highly valued.
