• PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.

• Minimum 3 years of teaching and/or research experience.

• At least 3 publications in reputed, peer reviewed academic journals.

• First Class/Division in all academic examinations.

• Requirements may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional research achievements or extensive experience.

Preferred Research Expertise

To strengthen AIUB`s rapidly expanding research portfolio, special preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated expertise in:

• Molecular Biology, including gene expression analysis, genomics, proteomics, recombinant DNA technology, and advanced molecular techniques.

• Bioinformatics, with a strong command of computational biology, genome and protein sequence analysis, structural bioinformatics, algorithm development, machine learning applications in biology, and high throughput data analysis.

• Experience in interdisciplinary research integrating wet lab molecular biology with computational approaches will be considered a significant advantage.
