• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, preferably in Wet Processing, or an equivalent relevant qualification.

Experience Requirements

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in the Dyeing & Washing R&D department of a garments/textile manufacturing organization.

• Strong knowledge of denim/garment washing, dyeing, finishing, and chemical applications.

• Practical experience in new product development, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Lead and manage the Dyeing & Washing R&D department.

• Develop new washing techniques, dyeing processes, and innovative finishes to meet buyer requirements.

• Conduct research, product development, lab dips, and washing trials.

• Ensure shade accuracy, color consistency, quality standards, and process efficiency.

• Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Quality, and Technical teams.

• Optimize chemical consumption, water usage, production costs, and process performance.

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, chemical management standards, and environmental regulations.

• Guide the R&D team to achieve product development and production objectives.
