Role Overview:
This role is responsible for driving online sales growth by managing end-to-end e-commerce operations. Key areas include website merchandising, product launches, digital marketing, portfolio management, and performance tracking to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive e-commerce strategies and annual plans based on market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape.
Manage the e-commerce platform daily, including setting up promotions, updating product listings, and optimizing on-site search/navigation.
Manage website health and functionality by regularly monitoring for technical issues, identifying bugs (UI/UX, checkout, payment gateway, page load errors), and coordinating with internal or external tech teams for timely resolution.
Optimizing website navigation, search functionality, and checkout processes to reduce cart abandonment and improve customer journey.
Execute digital campaigns, including Search, Display, Social Ads, and email newsletters to drive traffic.
Utilize data-driven insights and use analytical metrics & tools to evaluate the website performance, sales data & E-Commerce campaigns.
Identify under-performing areas (Category Wise Product) and develop strategies for improvement.
Optimize e-commerce stock levels and site coverage by implementing a dynamic tracking system with SMART reporting, while collaborating cross-functionally with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory holding.
Develop and review SOPs for smooth control of e-commerce operations.
Manage end-to-end financial operations by ensuring on-time cash reconciliation with Finance, resolving product transfer and receiving discrepancies within established timelines, and overseeing the punctual settlement of all vendor and server bills.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including planning, design & development, Marketing, Product management center, to ensure alignment of e-commerce marketing efforts with business goals.
Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, and vendors to support e-commerce marketing initiatives, and manage budgets effectively.
