A Post Graduate Diploma in SCM from BIM is preferable.
5-10 years of relevant experience in logistics & distribution, ideally in cement & building materials industries
Tech-savvy, familiar with ERP, TMS, and Google Workspace
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly distribution plans to meet customer demand
Optimize fleet utilization, route planning, and delivery schedules
Manage logistics costs, monitor budget, and implement cost-saving measures
Negotiate with vendors and carriers, ensuring SLA compliance
Maintain high customer service standards and resolve delivery issues promptly
Monitor KPIs, analyze performance, and report insights to management
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
Lead, mentor, and coach logistics team members for improved efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales, and Warehouse teams
