Responsibilities & Context:
We are a 100% export-oriented renowned Denim Top-Bottom Garments Manufacturer, looking for a dynamic, energetic and analytic candidate for the post of "Assistant Manager - Cutting". The incumbent must have initiative, experience and the drive to deliver high-quality results.
- Collecting cutting plan from the planning section and dividing into Machine Cut & Manual cut section.
- Confirming fabric from other department and relaxing fabric as per buyer requirement for next day cutting.
- Cross-checking the QC report and obtaining the QC approval for the sample/size and bulk cutting.
- Preparing monthly/weekly cutting plans considering the shipment schedules.
- Strictly controlling the waste management by reducing cutting rejection & fabric waste.
- Ensuring smooth operation of the Cutting section by problem analysis, root cause identification, and problem-solving.
- Checking the cutting progress as per cutting plan.
- Ensuring to maintain and record cutting fabric consumption and keeping the fabric ready for the production.
- Ensuring the collection of fabric inspection/shade band & shrinkage report and monitoring it.
- Collecting shrinkage group wise pattern from technical department.
- Monitoring style wise cutting quality, checking cutting report & shading chart register.
- Maintaining the `SOP of Cutting` & developing the team and leading them for the smooth operation of the cutting.
- Making the cutting plan as per production plan & ensuring fabric relaxation as per fabrics type & buyer`s requirement.
- Taking care of the housekeeping.
