Should have experience in fabric research and development, preferably in a similar role within the textile or apparel industry.
Strong knowledge of fabric properties, manufacturing processes, and testing methodologies.

Examine all seasonal fabric innovations with the seniors to make sure that textiles are developed and allocated appropriately to fulfill business objectives, merchandising specifications, and design vision.
Taking charge of correspondence and effective flor management.
Support corporate mill strategy.
Create and update fabric archives and maintain fabric libraries.
Maintain all important cross-functional partners informed on fabric development and associated matters in an efficient and consistent manner.
Assist the group in efficiently troubleshooting and resolving bulk and development issues.
Any other assignment given by the management from time to time.
