Job Responsibilities:
General Electrical Engineering Responsibilities:
Assisting the superiors in all designs, drawings and specifications according to the project standards;
Supervising, monitoring, and ensuring the quality of construction and finishing works, as well as the materials used;
Preparing work plans and submit regular progress reports for ongoing projects;
Resolving construction or maintenance-related issues at project sites, in consultation with relevant consultants when necessary;
Coordinating with the Head Office, consultants, and contractors regularly;
Preparing, maintaining, and updating engineering documents and records;
Attending meetings and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders as per requirements;
Monitoring and ensuring progress during each phase of the project;
Measuring completed works and recording them in the Measurement Book (MB);
Verifying final bills and ensuring the refund of security deposits;
Preparing drawings, specifications, and BoQs for special renovation works;
Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is required;
Must be skilled in writing technical reports, emailing, and internet browsing;
Carrying out routine supervision, repair, and maintenance tasks Effectively;
Electrical Maintenance Engineering (EME) Specific Responsibilities:
Managing all electricians and ensuring completion of maintenance tasks as per schedule;
Overseeing electrical power supply, distribution, and panel board maintenance;
Maintaining all backup power systems including generators, UPS, and IPS;
Monitoring and maintaining all internal and external lighting systems of the institutions;
Conducting scheduled maintenance visits, identify issues, and take proper actions;
Carrying out necessary repairs and maintenance;
Ensuring implementation of electrical safety systems such as grounding and lightning protection;
Supervising and maintaining HVAC systems, elevators, and other electromechanical systems;
Preparing maintenance schedules, control maintenance inventory, and maintain records properly;
Ensuring preventive measures and proper maintenance of all electrical and EME-related equipment;
Conducting equipment health checks and maintaining inspection logs, registers, and checklists;
Performing any additional duties assigned by the authority;
To be responsible for any damage (tangible or intangible) to the organization’s assets or interests due to negligence, incompetence, or misconduct.
