Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the hospitality industry or a related domain.
Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++.
Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Spring, Django) and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.·
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.·
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to create innovative solutions.
Design, develop, and implement software applications for various hotel functionalities, such as:
Reservation systems
Guest room management systems
Mobile apps for guest services
Self-service kiosks
Integration with property management systems
Data analytics and reporting tools
Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues·
Periodically submit requests for proposal (REP) to new and existing vendors for IT related supplies and services.
Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the IT Manager or his/her designate.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, marketing, and guest services, to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of software applications.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies relevant to the hospitality industry, such as cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI).
Document code effectively and contribute to the creation of technical knowledge base.
Assist with IT support for hotel staff base on requirement as needed.
Developing and directing software system validation and testing methods.
Directing our software programming initiatives·
Overseeing the development of documentation.
Working closely with clients and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.
Analyzing data to effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems.
Managing the software development lifecycle.
Monitoring system performance.
Developing and executing project plans.
Creating innovative solutions to meet our company’s technical needs.
Testing new software and fixing bugs.
Shaping the future of our systems.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment·
