Responsibilities & Context:
∎ -Control the quality department.
∎ -Ensure quality assurance and control systems are implemented, maintained and improved in order to assure the quality of products as per clients' standards and requirements and to meet KPIs set by the company.
∎ -Take appropriate action to ensure that required quality standards are maintained through the process to prevent the recurrence of similar issues.
∎ -Set appropriate quality standards and tolerances (within acceptable limits) with regards to raw material and production quality so as to exceed customer expectations in the most effective manner.
∎ -Communicate all quality-related decisions and issues effectively to all relevant internal and external parties, (customers and suppliers) to assure the consistency of standards, and providing quality related information to the required persons and the management to facilitate decision making.
∎ -Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) tool is in place & working.·        Maintain effective communication with the members of the buying, merchandising, production, Planning, Logistics and some others departments.
∎ -Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training, needs and their career development.
∎ -Ensures that safety, quality and maintain compliance issue are taken as part of the job.
∎ -Monitor inspection of raw materials and accessories of the garment and durability testing in terms color & quality with Statistical Process Control (SPC) Tools.
∎ -Monitor to identify loopholes during cutting, sewing, assembling, washing, finishing and packing stage of garment in terms of quality measurement.
∎ -Supervise inline quality & quantity check as per production order.·        Recommend and take corrective actions against deviations and follow up accordingly.
∎ -Monitor random inspection at final stage.
∎ -Oversee the day-to-day functions with QA, PD, Merchandising, Planning and Design & Development department to ensure buyer compliance.
∎ -Management of client/buyer in case of any non-conforming products.·        Has to Maintain & understand Company Quality Policy and work for implementation.
∎ -Any other relevant & necessary job(s) as desired by the Management.
