Responsibilities & Context:
- Monitor, control, and ensure seamless on-air broadcast operations, maintaining high technical standards.
- Switch, route, and schedule live feeds, recorded programs, commercials, and promos as per daily transmission log.
- Monitor audio/video quality, signal levels, and troubleshoot any on-air or off-air issues promptly.
- Coordinate with production, programming, and engineering teams for smooth content delivery.
- Maintain accurate transmission records, fault logs, and incident reports for compliance.
- Receive, ingest, and log raw footage, edited content, and graphics into the media asset management system.
- Organize and maintain the digital content archive, ensuring proper metadata tagging for quick retrieval.
- Verify file formats, quality, and storage standards before archiving.
- Assist in retrieving archived footage for news, production, and post-production teams.
- Ensure data backup, storage health checks, and secure preservation of media assets.
