Education:

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, IPE, EEE, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline from a top-ranked University.

  • The applicant should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG)/ Chemical Industries.
  • 06–10 years of relevant experience in agrochemical, FMCG, or similar manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in formulation and repacking operations will be highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 implementation is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Skills & Expertise: Chemical Management/ Process Control/ Production Planning.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Minori Bangladesh Ltd. is looking for a proactive and driven Assistant/Deputy Manager (Chemical) to take ownership of end-to-end operations at our highly automated Food, Beverage, Oil manufacturing and repacking plant. This permanent role offers a strong platform to lead production, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality, EHS, and ISO standards. The selected candidate will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence by collaborating with cross-functional teams and promoting continuous improvement within a rapidly growing manufacturing environment.

Workplace: Frequent visit in Factory (Different Districts).

Job Location: Dhaka (Head Office).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate new Food & Beverage products (including By-products) from concept to commercialization.
  • Optimize ingredient combinations, flavor profiles, texture, color, and shelf-life to meet quality and cost objectives.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes for better efficiency, product consistency, and safety.
  • Oversee production activities to ensure compliance with manufacturing technologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to innovate and improve offerings.
  • Monitor operational parameters to detect issues early and apply appropriate troubleshooting measures.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of chemicals used in the plant to ensure regulatory compliance and safe handling.
  • Conduct tests, analyses, and evaluations on material samples to generate reports that support technical decision-making.
  • Maintain & verify & submit accurate records and reports of plant performance, production, inventory, and compliance to the Management.
