• Make patterns based on the requirements provided by the respective buyer through the garment merchandiser, ensuring timely delivery.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings for clothing designs as per customers’ requirements.
• Manage a team of operators and calculate to produce the final work.Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Gerber software, showcasing excellent mathematical skills within these applications.
• Ensure the timely creation of patterns or samples using Gerber software, meeting the expectations of buyers.
• Transform customer concepts and ideas into new product developments by fully understanding and integrating their requirements.
• Review the sketch sample and create a prototype based on the buyer's requirements.
• Create a master pattern for each size within the specified garment size range.
• Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders, including sample makers, cutters, merchandisers, technicians, and senior staff, as well as liaising with customers' technical teams to optimize consumption with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Evaluate the design sample, prototype sample, fit sample, red seal, and gold seal samples upon receipt from the buyer.
• Assist and advise the team in identifying optimal solutions to minimize fabric waste and maximize fabric utilization.
• Manage pattern corrections and provide essential technical support during sample development and production.Promote cost reduction by minimizing process inefficiencies, waste, and rejections.
• Digitize patterns provided by pattern makers, making necessary alterations, adjustments, and grading according to the buyers' specifications.
