Job Responsibilities:
∎ Primary Responsibilities:
∎ Oversight of two Upazilas in respect to the proper implementation of the project and reporting to TD.
∎ To organize inception workshops at Upazila/union level for the effective beginning of the project.
∎ To ensure work plan is delivered on time.
∎ To implement interventions with rural market actors and community groups.
∎ Effective implementation of SBC and market development strategy.
∎ Closely work with Market Management Committee (MMC), School Management Committee (SMC), Islamic Foundation, Mobile vendors, women groups, existing adolescent groups, SKNF, Agro-input Retailers and with the Government Agriculture Officer & Government Livestock Officer.
∎ To assist in organizing training with mobile sale agents, Hat/Bazaar vendors, women groups and adolescents, etc.
∎ To assist in designing and driving activities towards sustainability.
∎ Secondary Responsibilities:
∎ To assist in conducting situational and audience analysis
∎ To facilitate the partnership between hat/Bazar vendor and mobile sales agents.
∎ To organize and conduct training, meeting, workshop at Upazila, union and community level in consultation with BNA Technical Leads and TD.
∎ To arrange exchange/learning visits, field days on updated technology for skills development of the community.
∎ To monitor, collect, compile, process and analysis data and report to the management. Similarly, support other team members to do the same in order to ensure the quality and reliability of the data.
∎ To organize linkage meetings among the farmers, producer groups, input & output actors including other stakeholders to ensure better market access.
∎ To prepare quantitative & qualitative reports as per need.
∎ To perform any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the concerned authority and as and when requires.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age limit: Maximum 40 (For more experienced candidates, the age limit will be relaxed)
∎ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the field of public health, Agriculture, livelihood & climate change or working on programs of similar scope.
∎ Good skill in report writing in English and Bengali. Require basic computer skill on MS-Office. Motorcycle driving skills with valid license
Salary:
∎ Tk. 56,000 per month, Consolidated and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project
