Job Context:
∎ The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is an international Christian faith based non-profit organization which is committed to change the lives of persons affected by leprosy working in Bangladesh since 1991. Organizational vision is leprosy defeated, lives transformed. The Leprosy Mission International Bangladesh (TLMI-B) is working as partner of Government of Bangladesh to achieve its long term strategy and goal. Also it works for the social rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy, disability and social exclusion. Currently, it invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for its project under Gaibandha and Joypurhat Program area for the following position:
∎ Job Nature: Contractual (Project based fixed term).
∎ This is a senior project staff position which will provide technical support to Community Development Facilitators. This position will support the Project Manager to develop plan and budget and to ensure best use of resources and build and maintain relationship with government and other entities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare plan and budget.
∎ Supervise the Community Development Facilitators.
∎ Ensure the best use of resources specially money and staff.
∎ Maintain relationship with local government, Leaders, stakeholders, NGOs and the key persons.
∎ Prepare and submit report regularly.
∎ Facilitate development of federations.
∎ Do the progress monitoring of sustainability of Self Help Group (SHG) and Federations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years working experience in related field.
∎ Willingness to work with people affected by leprosy and disability.
∎ Knowledge on Leprosy and disability will be given preference.
Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary BDT 26838.00 plus other benefits and allowances as per organizational policy.
