Good grasp of OOP, design patterns & software architecture.
In touch with current mobile development trends, approaches, libraries and frameworks
Need to have automated testing experience (TDD or any other methodology)
Automation & continuous integration experience is a plus.
Contributions to open source projects is a plus.
Kotlin experience is a plus.
Having an eye on UI & UX is a plus.
Must have very good Object Oriented Concepts.
Keep skills current with new technologies.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the android platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and authorization
- Plan, design and implement applications for Android
- Find and fix bugs in a timely manner
- Develop UI from the sketch as per business requirement
- Managing and Integrating Web APIs in android app
- Work on top of the existing code-base for our ongoing android applications
- Knowledge on design principles & Version control systems
