Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist clients in planning and booking flights, hotels, and travel packages;·
∎ Provide up-to-date and accurate information on flight availability, destinations, fares, travel schedules, flight changes, flight delays, travel policies, travel regulations, and visa requirements to clients over phone, online and face-to-face; ·
∎ Inform clients about special promotions, upgrades, and additional services offered by the airline, aiming to maximize revenue opportunities.·
∎ Calculate fares, taxes and fees accurately based on passenger’s itinerary, travel class and any applicable promotions;·
∎ Assist passengers with baggage-related inquiries, including baggage allowances, fees, restrictions, and lost or delayed baggage issues;·
∎ Manage booking, issuing, re-issuing, refunding and cancellations of flight tickets on GDS (Sabre, Travelport and Amadeus) swiftly and without error;·
∎ Prepare and send invoices and receipts to clients promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness;·
∎ Process payments for ticket purchases, including cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers, and other forms of payment accepted by airlines;·
∎ Handle changes to itineraries and assist with cancellations;·
∎ Arrange and prepare supporting documents for visa application;·
∎ Handle refund requests and resolve payment-related issues.·
∎ Handle customer issues, complaints, escalations and complex cases effectively; ·
∎ Maintain and update customer records in the booking system;·
∎ Maintain accurate records of ticket sales, reservations, transactions, and other relevant data;·
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions, loyalty programs and travel packages;·
∎ Assist clients to customize travel itineraries according to their needs;· Arrange travel itineraries for corporate and group tours;·
∎ Negotiate group rates with airlines and other travel services; ·
∎ Analyze booking trends and customer feedback;·
∎ Prepare and present reports on Sales and Customer Feedbacks to Manager on daily basis; ·
∎ Collaborate with Manager to promote packages and deals to clients.
∎ Able to effectively communicate with local and international clients in Fluent English;·

∎ Highly skilled in operating GDS - Sabre, Amadeus and Travelport (Galileo);·

∎ Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop;·
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skill;·
∎ Strong documentation and reporting skill;·

∎ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:·

∎ In case of applicants with adequate experience and pretty good track record, educational requirements may be flexible.
∎ Experience·
∎ The applicant must have at least 5 years relevant experience as an Air-ticketing Officer/Executive in the following industry: Travel Agency, Tour Operator, GSA, PSA, Airlines, Immigration·
∎ A training certificate or course on GDS (Sabre, Travelport and Amadeus) will be regarded as an added advantage.·
∎ The job is NOT for Freshers.
