Job Context:
∎ The Agriculture Officer under the WV WFP, Self-Reliance project will be based in field office and will assist to ensure the quality, efficient and effective delivery of project activities. The position will responsible for the direct field implementation of all kinds of activities. Assist to Manager to do including the liaison with the Government Department, liaison with other WVB projects to ensure the services are well integrated and well-coordinated.
∎ The Agriculture Officer will work closely and assist the Manager to establish humanitarian accountability feedback mechanisms in all activities. The Officer will assist the PM to ensure that all monitoring systems are in place and are functional, and that the feedback from the monitoring system is being utilized to improve program implementation. The Officer will assist PM for documenting success stories from group/individual and works closely with the Communications and Advocacy to report on the success stories.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare detailed implementation plan to implementation project activities in the camps.
∎ Provide technical guidance and support to field staff to ensure field level training, session, demonstration and others interventions
∎ Monitor progress through field visits, review of indicators, and meetings with staff, communities, and other stakeholders.
∎ Provide technical support to enrich their knowledge and skills support field team in all level of operations, including capacity building of staff.
∎ Assess the quality of program implementation and take necessary initiative for continuous improvement of the program;
∎ Resolve and avoid the conflict of community development interventions
∎ Keep informal/formal network with other organizations doing similar program in the refugee camps;
∎ Maintain strong relationship with field level WFP staff, FAO and Farmers Groups, CiC, Site-Management and Other stakeholders of the camps;
∎ Ensure proper documentation of project success stories and case studies and other meeting reports.
∎ Assisting the Project Manager in controlling the project budgets by budget monitoring.
∎ Assist in the efficient and effective delivery of project’s services
∎ Assist the PM in overseeing the implementation of MEAL structures and system for the project
∎ Capacity building of staffs with the assistance of DAE.
∎ Ensure gardeners with technical backstopping/solutions at Demo centered involving technical personnel of DAE.
∎ Assist in Coordination and integration of other WV services
∎ Assist the PM in Reporting and Accounting
∎ Assist the PM for reporting and tracking all commodities, non-food items and inputs for the BnFs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years of experience in homestead/nutrition gardening
∎ 1 year experience in cash distribution management or commodity management
∎ Work experience Cash Assistance project & with Rohingya Refugee Response
∎ Experience in home gardening promotion or cash distribution management
∎ Experience in field monitoring, targeting and selection of vulnerable population
∎ Reporting and accounting experience needed
∎ Experience in project implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing useful.
∎ Good in communication, interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity.
∎ Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a high standard of English and Local Language (preferable).
∎ Experience working in an office environment and able to use a computer (word for windows, excel software) and email is essential.
∎ Good time management and organizational skills
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs
∎ Good analytical skill
