Experience:
Candidate should have hand on experiences at least 10 years in fabric QA/Processing/Testing and managerial leadership;
Strong Exposure to knit & woven fabrics (as applicable);
Strong knowledge of fabric manufacturing, dyeing, finishing, and testing;
Hands- on experience with fabric testing standards (ISO, AATCC, ASTM);
Practical Understanding of Buyer requirements and compliance systems;
Strong leadership, Communication, and Cross-functional co-ordination skills;
Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability;
Capability to handle pressure, Deadlines, and multiple priorities;
Proficient in MIS, reporting, and data driven decesion making;
High level of integrity and quality mindset;
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution- focused
Willingness to travel to mills, suppliers, and outsourcing units;

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement fabric quality assurance strategy, Policies, and SOPs;
Lead fabric QA & Laboratory teams and ensure skill development and accountability;
Drive a quality fast- Culture across sourcing, production, and processing units;
Ensure pre-production risk assessment for new fabrics, finishes, and suppliers;
Control and monitor fabric quality parameters (GSM, dia, shrinkage, color fastness, appearance, performance);
Approve fabric based on lab test results, trial feedback, and bulk performance;
Prevent quality failures through early detection and corrective actions;
Monitor and improve supplier fabric quality performance;
Ensure effective outsourced fabric inspection and testing;
Lead corrective action plans with mills and processing units;
Ensure all fabric testing protocols comply with the buyer and regulatory standards.
Maintain audit Readiness for the buyer. third party, and internal audits;
Ensure lab accreditation scope and testing accuracy;
Lead Root cause analysis (RCA) for major and recurring fabric defects;
Implement CAPA and track effectiveness.
Drive Cost Reduction through reduced rework. rejection, and claims;
Report Fabric Quality KPI’s, Risks, and improvement plans to management;
Coordinate with Merchandising, Sourcing, Production, and Technical Teams;
